Father and son is the title of a show starring Claudio Bisio, inspired by – Gli Sdraiati – and – Breviario Comico – by Michele Serra and directed by Giorgio Gallione. The show was touring in Italy in early 2018.
“Father and son” is about the relationship between fathers and sons, portrayed without modesty and with a language that constantly shifts between the ironic and the painful, the comic and the tragic. The absence of a relationship gives rise to a mocking and tender narration, an inner monologue (obviously of the father, verbose and intrusive as the son is mute and absent) at times shamelessly sincere.
